Product Overview
- The Optical Sensor Holder comes as a part of the Giraffe®⢠Incubator, which is an enclosed apparatus used for premature babies or neonates to provide warmth in a controlled and protected environment. It combines a control with effective thermal conditions and features like doors that allow access from either side, displays and a bed manifold with a mattress. The side panel door contains portholes used for routing a ventilator or an oscillator tube into the Incubator without disturbing the functionality and heat condition. It contains an optical fan to circulate gas from the Infant compartment across the sensors. The fan near the airflow sensor is activated when the sensor senses the temperature reaching 50° C. It circulates air to keep the optical sensors below the maximum allowable operating temperature. The holder is provided to hold the sensor by means of a screw of M2.9 size such that the sensor is mounted steadily on the body. It is provided to arrest the location of the sensor and to protect it from external damage.
