Product Overview

The High Voltage (HV) Cable is used significantly for X-Ray, Computed Tomography (CT) and for angiography equipment. It provides high voltage power supply for the machines. These machines monitor the voltage and regulate it using a voltage regulator according to the requirement. The cable has three 1.8mm conductors and made up of tinned copper wire. There will be fillers around these conductors and covered by semi-conducting tape. Outside the tape there is a high voltage insulation made of Ethylene Propylene (EP) rubber, outside that comes the shielding which has 95% coverage and over that comes the PVC jacket which is the outermost and comes with the details of the cable and the brand name. The cable has special connectors at both the ends that come with tail-casing, nut and washer, which will be plugged into the machine. The connectors are to be assembled and processed as per the recommended procedures. The cable can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C in the operating condition. The cable is HIPOT tested to 94kV for one minute. The cable is used in Digital Imaging (DI) machines like Optima XR220amx, Discovery IGS 740, Discovery XR656, Signa Optima HDxt 23 3.0T, LightSpeed 3.X Ultra 8-Slice, Precision 500D, Definium 5000, Brivo XR285amx, Proteus XR/a, OEC FLUOROSTAR 7900, KM Aero DR Rad, Prestilix and Definium AMX 700, among others.
