Product Overview

The AC/DC Module with Thermal Pad is a specially designed AC to DC converter intended for use in GE Venus™ 50 ultrasound system and other medical equipment as applicable. The AC/DC power module with thermal pad is used for automatic battery charging during line-power operation. The basic function of the power supply converts mains AC to low-voltage regulated DC power. The switching power supply generates the fundamental device voltage for the PCB control and for the PCB battery charge. The thermal pad is affixed to the top of the power module for electrical insulation. This power supply operates from 110 to 240 VAC input voltage and offers DC output mostly demanded by the industry. The part is RoHS compliant and is approved for today’s safety standards. The product is tested to work at extreme atmospheric conditions. It is diligently designed for high performance and reliability. The GE product is an innovation and technology which fits well into versatile GE customer needs.
