Product Overview
The Back End Processor (BEP) is a computer designed specially for the use in the LOGIQ E9 Ultrasound Scanners made by GEHC. It is located on the left side, behind the side cover of LOGIQ E9 Ultrasound Scanner. It includes a power supply for local voltages, a motherboard with 2GB RAM, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, PCI connectors for extension cards, an I/O board, 250GB SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) hard drive, memory, DVD drive interface, fan and USB interfaces. These parts are organized in a chassis to complete the assembly. The EPS (Extended Power Shutdown) feature provides 2 minutes of power to ensure orderly shutdown of system. It uses two replaceable sealed Lead Acid Batteries for the backup. The EPS provides enough power capacity for at least 5 AC-failures in one day. The assembly includes status lights (LEDs) for network and Hard Disk activity. This BEP computer can be used with GE's Logiq E9 Ultrasound systems. 5145000-2U
