Product Overview
The Plastic Fiber Optic Cable is designed to use with Computer Tomography (CT) scanner equipments to transmit light energy from OBC to anode inverter. This plastic fiber optic cable is made out of the polymer which transmits light through the core of the fiber. The plastic fiber optic cable has robustness under bending and stretching compared to glass fiber cables. This cable has Polymethylmethacrylate Resin as a core material and Fluorinated Polymer as a cladding material with polyethylene jacket. The jacket provides protection for the shielding and conductors within the cable. It also protects the cable from mechanical damage during and after installation. The ends of the fiber optic cable are connected with a latching connector with crimp ring on both the sides.
