Product Overview
The Standard Hexagonal Brass Uninsulated Banana is used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems. The banana plug is a connector plug which has an internal thread. It is supplied with the screw and phosphor bronze tinned cover. The internal female thread permits use on all panels. It fits standard banana jacks. When it is connected, the enclosed spring in the banana plug is will rotate. It has a hexagonal body shape made of brass which possesses strength, machinability, hygiene and hardness. During the contact, the spring features four-leaved phosphor bronze or beryllium copper. It is made from a material that features weldability, durability and high modulus of elasticity. It is rated at 15 Amps AC for 10° C temperature rise and for continuous duty. It has 15A as a current rating and 1kV as voltage rating. It is a RoHS compliant. It is being used in Signa LX 1.5T, Signa Horizon Hispeed FX 1.0T, Signa LX Excite MR/i 1.5T and Signa VH Head 3.0T.
