Product Overview
The Detector Power Supply (DPS) provides regulated DC power to Apollo digital X-Ray detector. It is controlled by the external controller, it communicate with the external controller through CAN interface to report on power status and output voltages. The DPS is powered from either 85-265 VAC / 2.5A or 120-250 VDC / 1.5A Input and deliver nominal DC output voltages of 6.25, -5.25,19.2, -24.4, 7.30, 4.5 Volts. There are 6 different supplies, which make up the DPS. There are four connectors to/from the DPS and four connectors are AC Input to DPS, DPS to Controller and DPS to Detector (Connector 1 for Backwards Compatibility and Connector 2 for New Systems). The power supply is self-cooled with an internal fant and is fully protected against short circuit, over load and over voltage. This system reads the outputs voltage by CAN communication, and determines whether the outputs voltages need to be trimmed to meet the system requirement or not.
