Product Overview
The O-ring is used to prevent the leakage of vapors from Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG) in an anesthesia delivery machine. A common cause of vapor leakage is the absent or damaged O-ring. It is the most common type of seal used in a wide range of static or dynamic applications. It is seated in a groove and it is compressed between two or more parts to create an excellent seal. It is used to Auxiliary Common Gas Outlet (ACGO) valve breathing circuit system, to transport oxygen and anesthetic gases. It acts as an excellent washer by eliminating leakage of gases. The O-ring is made up of highly abrasive and flexible Ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) material. Ethylene propylene rubber is a type of synthetic elastomer that is closely related to EPDM rubber.
